INDIAN CASES NEARING 10000 a day


ULOCK 1.0 will be on process from June 8 with Temples, Malls and Restaurants opening in different parts of the country, the numbers are increasing fast with single day spike of 9638 today. As usual, Maharashtra records the highest with 2560 and Chennai having 1286 on a single day. Today Karnataka also found its single spike in numbers with around 250 are from other states.

Today’s number has made the country shocked as with the states and cities with no numbers until now has started with big numbers.  Tripura had a count of 102 cases today making it the highest.

Let us see the top 5 infected places of the country. They are

Maharashtra – 2560

Tamil Nadu – 1286

Delhi – 1513

Gujarat – 485

Rajasthan - 279

Karnataka Crosses 4000 Corona Cases


After finding the highest number of Corona cases in Karnataka with 388 yesterday, today it has reduced to 267. Out of the 4063 positive cases in the states, 1514 already been discharged and 2494 remain active. The no. of. Deaths so far is 53. The shocking news is that out of 267 cases, 250 have travel history from other states.

Karnataka COVID -19 Cases and increase in Containment Zones

With the increase in COVID cases in India, Karnataka is also facing the issue with many travelers coming into the state. The number of cases until now is 3408 and the Active at 2026 and death toll to 52. As far as Bangalore is considered, the number of cases has increased drastically with 33 the highest number of cases on May 31, 2020. Yesterday the count was 28 with many cases spreading towards the non-containment zone too. The containment zones in Bangalore stands at 36.

The state government has arranged a COVID test kiosk at the railway station for the passengers coming from other states. Especially, for the travellers coming from Maharashtra, the rules is to be in the institutional quarantine for 7 days and 7 days in home quarantine. For others, the rule is to have a 14-day home quarantine. If the person found symptoms, then need to have a 7-day institutional quarantine followed by home quarantine.

Even the Airports in Karnataka has arranged COVID tests for the people arriving from different districts and states. This will help in reducing the COVID cases in the states with detailed reports of people entering the state will be available.
